I'm missing stuff. My sister's tv doesn't have closed captioning. What was the point of the scene in the mens' room?
The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!
She seems a bit flawed.
Or the imprint was flawed.
It seems that promo was meant for after the show.
I like it well enough, but I'm not wowed.
What was the point of the scene in the mens' room?
The same as the point of the boxing scene?
I love Tam, but I'm confused about his plotline.
I didn't get enough of a feel for most of the characters. So far I only like 2 of them. I need a number of characters that I care about to care about the show. Historically I almost never like a show from the pilot alone so I have to withhold judgment. I'll be back next Friday.
I was hooked on Buffy; and X-files by the first episode. I only saw half of the first Firefly and I was still hooked!
It didn't grab me like Firefly, but I don't hate it, and I'm going to keep watching it. I'm intrigued to know more about these people.
The men's room scene was, I think, to show that Tam is willing to work outside the law to get to what he wants to know. (If I understood, he was bargaining with that guy for information, in exchange for protection for his particular branch of bad guys.)
