The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

CBS ran a Flashpoint repeat last week (and got 10 million viewers...) so they could do 'all new' Flashpoint against Dollhouse today.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

makes one consider the ATT Uverse thingy. If only the prices were cheaper, I might switch from cable.

My computer is recording Dollhouse (HD), and my old SD DVR will record Friday Night Lights. Too bad, with my Xbox in the shop, I can't watch Dollhouse on my shiny 40" tv. t /1st world problems

We have the Uverse. Aside from our dog having a panic attack over the installation and the installer doing some random things with wires, I think it's pretty awesome.

Unexpected feature? I can record stuff in HD and watch it on either TV (the HD one and the non-HD one). The box seems to know how to convert it or something.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

The internet still seems a bit wonky/slow to me.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I can only dvr two things and not watch a 3rd. So sad.

We're making him watch it in the isolation and snackless wasteland of his room.

No, actually, he volunteered. I said I'd watch Dollhouse live in his room so we could dvr FNL and Flashpoint, but he wants to check Dollhouse out, too, and he knows (sorry, Daddy Mars)I don't care for Flashpoint, so he volunteered. If he had a vcr in his room, we could tape the third thing and watch it later. Meanwhile, DH is laughing his ass off at the tv junkies who can't successfully juggle their tv recording.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

We have the Uverse. Aside from our dog having a panic attack over the installation and the installer doing some random things with wires, I think it's pretty awesome.

I keep getting things in the mail about it, and it seems too good to be true. I mean, it is literally half as cheap as Comcast, I think. That is just ricockulous.

I did some research and I'm pretty sure our internet package comes with the same speed we were getting with Time Warner. So no savings there.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Aside from our dog having a panic attack over the installation and the installer doing some random things with wires, I think it's pretty awesome.

I did tech support for them for 6 months. I think I still have a little PTSD. People get really angry when they can't watch tv or access internet.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

our internet package comes with the same speed

Yeah, part of my job was to explain that the key words were "up to" when describing the speed. That always went over really well. Good times.
