This is what I had to explain to my mom who was quite upset that John and Marlena are leaving and instead we have Ethan and Luis. Jay Johnson walked out so I'm interested to see if we (as in me, if I am the only one watching) get an old fashioned voice over saying, "the role of Phillip is now being played by..."
