sumi, just remembered something. Have you heard of ravelry.com? Social network for knitters. Ms Havisham is pretty sure that they have a Battlestar Galactica fan group.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!
They do - we're discussing Sharon's sweater over there. (I just figured that there would be crafty Buffistas who could contribute.)
sumi, Ms Havisham is fairislekitty over there. Is there a Buffista interest group on rav yet? (Ms. H is at work so she doesn't get to webbrowse and ask questions...)
There isn't Buffista as such but there are Whedonverse, Buffy, Browncoat, Spike. . .I should see if there is an Angel one!
I know that there are other Buffistas on Ravelry.
(I'll "friend" her.)
Thanks. That way I can get out of the middle of this discussion and avoid all the jabs by the knitting needles... :)
I'm on Ravelry too. I'm meegiemoo.
Excellent!
I'll friend you.
In knitting news, the sleeveless sweater (my first sweater) that I started at least 2 years ago, I finally sewed together and am over halfway through working in all the ends. Should be done and ready to wear by next week.
Cool. I have not yet attempted a grownup sized sweater - despite my interest in the sweater from BSG. (I am attempting to swatch what looks like the pattern from the top part of the sweater but strangely the heat and humidity are making me NOT want to touch wool.)
