Also, we had an almost life-sized icon of St. Agatha at church today, visiting. Fortunately, it wasn't done in the traditional pose (warning, as with many early saints, her martyrdom was quite gruesome). There were cards for sale, and little shrines, along with her story. I'll just say, it wasn't a story I needed to read before coffee. That seems so shallow, but there you have it.

yeah, that's what i remember. She took care of jack when he got injured. And then she was deaf for a while.
She was a nurse when she left the show. Their explanation is that she went to med school while she was living out in California raising Stephanie by herself. So voila, Dr. Johnson.
And then she was deaf for a while.
As opposed to her sister, who was blind for awhile.
and a prostitute. But not at the same time.
You know... I grew up with a steady diet of musicals, and yet soaps STILL manage to stretch my suspension of disbelief.
