Spike: We got a history, him and me. Fred: What? Spike: It was a long time ago. He was a young Watcher, fresh out of the academy when we crossed paths. It was a, what-you-call battle of wills and blood was spilled. Vendettas were sworn. It was a whole-- Fred: My God you're so full of crap. Spike: Yeah. Okay.

The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

The best thing about that video, Polter-Cow, is Thomas Dekker's hair.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Joss and Eliza messing about

Is it wrong that I was mentally casting Joss in the Giles role and Eliza (of course) as Faith and feeling sorry for Buffy? I thought so...

Looking forward to Dollhouse!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

So...in the fonts thread...

I was amused to be given one of those catalog thingies, you know where you have to have or go to parties to buy the product (thereby assuring you will never have my custom because, hello, introvert!), where the product was these big giant wall text things.

I dunno. It's a giant sheet and you rub it on your wall and it says something pithy...do you know what I'm talking about? 'Cause I didn't, which is why I ended up being given the catalog.

Anyway! The point is, it was all this trendy phrasing in trendy fonts, one of which was...Chocolate Box! Amused. So I could pay lots of money to rub Chocolate Box all over my wall in massive scale.

eta: If, you know, I would go to a party. Which I won't.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

heh. When I was a teen I wrote Douglas Adams quotes on my walls with chalk. ie "Life... Don't talk to me about life." They were in courier, or what I called "typewriter style" back then. What a trendsetter I was- twenty years before my time.

In case Tim wanders by...

"But if there is another strike, I may have to find a place closer to my house."

You've got three years. Make them build you a studio closer to your house.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

"They've let me do anything -- from comedy with 'Wonderfalls' to a dark procedural with 'The Inside' to a spaceship show with horses with (sci-fi Western) 'Firefly.' "

Ha. I like that he calls it a "spaceship show with horses" instead of a space Western.

All is well that ends in pizza.

But "how do horses breathe in space?"
