Lorne: Back in Pylea they used to call me "sweet potato." Connor: Really. Lorne: Yeah, well, the exact translation was "fragrant tuber" but…

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I'm still in my pyjamas. Oy.

I'm going to Cirque du Soleil with my parents, & then out to dinner. Tomorrow it's a movie with Buffistas, yay!

At some point I will do some writing. And maybe go to the gym, since I can't run outside in this weather. Well, I mean, I could, but I don't like to be soaked all that much.

Muni's shut down? OY. Glad I'm driving, and I have 4wd.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

My office is freezing and there is (a) no work to be done, and (b) nobody to either (i) give me some work or (ii) tell me it's okay to go home. Bleargh.

The drive to Matilda's day care this morning was insane -- most of the traffic lights running along the north border of Golden Gate Park were out, and all the eucalyptus trees (and many of the other varieties) had been stripped of all their bark and most of their branches, so the street was hubcap-deep in tree debris (and one Christmas tree that someone had left out on the sidewalk for recycling, snatched up by the wind and dropped in the middle of an intersection).

I'm glad the other localistas are okay, except now I'm worried about how megan's housemate will cope with the deprivation. Maybe he can sneak off to a West Portal coffee house and steal some electricity from them? (Unless the whole neighborhood is dark?)

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I presume it's easier to maintain blonde coloring over gray hair than red.

For the average person, I'm sure that's so. For a megabucks A-list movie star who's going to constantly be in the hands of professional hair and makeup people anyway? What's the big deal?

My plan for tonight is to pick up some lobster bites on the way home and hunker down to eat them with cornbread stuffing and watch the new SGA. No real plans for later in the weekend, just continued bookshelf organizing and maybe buying a rug if I can find one that matches Pantone 2705.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Well, he's supposed to be working from home so I do feel slightly bad.

Maybe he can sneak off to a West Portal coffee house and steal some electricity from them? (Unless the whole neighborhood is dark?)

I'm so sure this is happening as we speak since the lights are on on the avenue. Plus, he can't go anywhere else because according to him the garage won't open manually.

Our wings are not tired.

It's ok to go home, JZ. How difficult of a commute do you anticipate?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday ita!

This weekend? Not much. I have a couple things on tape to watch, and the open sing is tonight.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Damage, to skin and hair, from frequent applications of chemicals (with as much grey as was showing in the pictures I saw, we're talking probably needing roots done every three weeks, and probably having two-step process to get a good red). Difficulty in getting a color that reads right on screen and flatters the face.

Hmmm..... Well, mom's insurance was contacted and they asked with whom I had a policy, but they didn't ask for its number.
