Weekend plans:

1. Prep writing contest entry, print out to mail tomorrow.
2. Mail contest entry, deposit checks I've been carrying around for two months (total amount is < $100), send shoes that don't fit back to Zappos.

6. Somewhere in there, rest and recover from flu

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I left work at 10, once I realized this cold/flu/plague was going to KILL ME. Took drugs, slept a couple of hours and am now marginally more able to function, if by "function" you mean sit on the couch and cruise the Interwebs.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

you know how we were talking about savings ... DH is not getting paid today. His co's bank screwed up. and due to the bank holiday, it won't be fixed until Tuesday. Our savings account means no scrambling for us. DH's company is taking care of all bank charges, giving money to those that need it,etc. We just don't have to deal with that .

Now a word about customer service. I don't care if DH's co is a small customer - fix the problem sooner - eat the cost of paying people overtime to fix your error.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wow, I just totally hit the wall. I could fall asleep right here. But I won't, I guess.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

2. Work at restaurant Saturday and Sunday.
3. Remember that there's a band Sat. night. No sleep 'til sunup for me.
4. Drive home Sunday.
5. Collapse into bed.
6. Work on Monday. (NO FAIR!)
