Shit, Kat. Wishing you the best house stuff and job stuff. No drama!

Shit is my favorite word. Which is appropriate, as it ostensibly was my first. Thanks dad!

sara = potty mouth. That's all I'm saying.

I'm remarkably unstressed. There is a house we will probably move into. It's out there, I swear. And I think it's near a Target. And maybe yummy food. And definitely closer to Grace.

The job stuff? It would be okay for me to go back into the classroom. Seriously. I miss kids, which teaching three 6-period days in a row has shown me. I think I'm going to start applying to elementary schools near where Grace is.

I am also going to try to plan a small 1st birthday party for the twins. They feel pretty fucking miraculous to me and the fact that they survived a year amazes me. I have to ask the folks at Grace's place if we can use the family room for a small birthday party. It feels weird to ask. I know there are a whole bunch of chinese traditions, I just don't know what they are. Something with eggs. And red envelopes.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

But it makes me feel relevant and valued.

Of course you are both of those things.

I'm remarkably unstressed.

Well, that's good. I can't believe the babies are almost one!

Jesse, yep. Next month. What's the dream job?

And I'm seconding, sara, that OF COURSE you are relevant and valued.

Also, paging Jilli: Did you see the Goth Lolita Bible with patterns!

This is not The Dream Job, but it could be cool and would definitely be a stretch, so. Weirdly, all of the senior management seems to be white men, and I've never worked in that kind of setting!

Hmmm... I won't ask more since I'm such a jinx these days.

Honestly, I should get up and do the dishes. But it just seems too hard to do right now.

Oh yeah, I'm not going to get into detail, because god knows what will actually happen!

See! I totally agree. I know I'm Ms. Superstition, but I think I jinxed the goats by even mentioning the goats.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I know I'm Ms. Superstition, but I think I jinxed the goats by even mentioning the goats.

Totally get you on that.

Dishes done! There were a frightening number of them. It scares me.
