There are sheets of ice falling off of our house. The whole process is very loud, especially when they hit the ground. It's making me jumpy.
I'm getting a lot of work done today, but the ONE thing I absolutely needed to send out, I can't. I have no FedEx slips, and the account number is sitting on my desk in the office. Feh. I need that expense reimbursment check so I can pay off the corporate AMEX.
maria, e me and I'll let you borrow my fedex number.
Can you call 800-go-fedex and ask them for it? I have found them to be surprisingly quick and helpful.
Then you can log onto fedex.com and ship it from there -- it only takes a few minutes to set up the account once you have the account number and it will print you a label.
I literally haven't touched one of those stupid slips in years.
Thanks ladies! As soon as I posted that, I came up with the most brilliant solution ever: I can pick up the phone and call someone in the office who will give it to me! Which they did.
Me = occasionally slow on the uptake.
It wasn't so brilliant that it needed to be said twice.
If you were doing a powerpoint presentation, and the title of one of the suggested slides was "Who the [Law] Applies to" would you change it? Is "To Whom the Law Applies" more grammatical or just persnickety?
You know, I've been in a really good mood today. Not so good, though, that I'm really looking forward to a 2.5-hour new-teacher meeting followed by an hour-long 4-H meeting. Gronk.
I might just do "The Law Applies To -- "
Skipping and poking my head to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is connie neil's birthday.
Happy birthday, connie! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!
