Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ugh, Burrell. Feel better! I still feel vaguely not right, but I guess I have to go to work.

Yeah, fuck it. Every time I stand up I feel weaker and weirder.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Ice was bad last night. I got a bus home, no problem, although it took longer than usual. But I got off the bus and my feet went out from under me ... luckily, I was still holding on to the railing on the bus steps. Then I had to get across the street and make my way a block and a half downhill. Again, luck was with me - most of the buildings have fences that I could hold onto. Took me almost 15 minutes to go a block and a half ... but I remained vertical! wet, but unbruised.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I too got the ick yesterday. It seems to be the exact ick I had in January. Fatigue, sinus pain, congestion, drainage. I started right up on the sinus meds that made me workable last time. I also went to best at 8:30, but I started waking up at 2:30, so that didn't work out so well. At least the boss is out, so I can be a bit lazy.

I went to sleep at 9:30 and woke up at 3:30! Time-shift twinsies.

Beware of falling moose. (no, really!)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Nice to see that cop has a sense of humor about it.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Sigh. I have the ick and it's one of those days when there's just no way I could be not here.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Hee. I love the trooper who nearly got hit:

Then he started wondering what happened. Did the moose jump?

"How would you say it -- moose-icide? He probably thought he was the only moose, with all those sheep around," Peterson said.

"They can fly and they can land," he said. "Just not very well."

Now I'm earwormed to the theme song to Toonces the Flying Moose.

eta: Also, "Notice he does not so much fly as plummet."
