Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Hopefully without the peanut butter, lisah!

My ballot had a special treat for me: an uncomitted option. I could've voted for none of the above!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I wish I had a pants-stapler and a root.

A pants-stapler and a root once bit my sister.

lunch - mac & cheese w/ turkey dogs

Doubletake! We need to find msbelle a new name for that dish. IJS.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARIA & KRISTIN!!!!!

I'm on four hours sleep because we played Caroline's last night and pretty much killed. SCORE The soup I brought for lunch had gone funny so I treated myself to the Sammich Of Choice -- BLTCA w/swiss cheese

I am having hot & spicy shrimp with fried rice and wonton soup. It's good, but they may have been a little oversealous about the hot & spicy part—my lips are stinging. I bet some of the heat will have faded when I have the leftovers for dinner, though.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

A pants-stapler and a root once bit my sister.

Pretty much everything bit your sister.

Parents should be nicer on my birthday, dammit.

I like the R2-D2 bridesmaid. And:

I would like to introduce, Mr. and Mrs. Hardy-Harr

The one with the "closed for wedding" sign was... sad? And the woman with the wetsuit under her wedding dress....

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I just had a bagel and cream cheese for lunch, but I am still hungry. This might require going out to fix.

Punishingly Intricate

sarameg's sandwich (w/o peanut butter) & Kat's risotto.

I do feel better since eating. Even if my food was blah.
