This is my boat. They're part of my crew. No one's getting left. Best you get used to that.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I love Rhapsody in Blue, but I flipped over to the Brit awards for a mo and am clueless as to why they are playing it.

not your mom's socks.

not a high school famous-person story - but a first-year dorm semi-famous person story (and also, I've been down at Bertha's [Sarameg, Lisah, still here tomorrow...] and may have had some wine) the first time I watched Casablanca, was with the guys in the dorm room directly below me. We stayed friends throughout school... but the guy who said, in the middle of the movie (not trying to pick anyone up, mind you - no, really - seriously, this was a philosophical statement, not porn) "you'll never forget the people who you watch this movie with the first time" was [link] and I swear, every I see him now all I can say is yeah. thanks.

ps - sarameg - the wind was NASTY. and did you see the snow?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Tribute to Gershwin. And oddly, right before it, they honored Itzhak Perlman and Max Roach(? - jazz drummer), but they're not the ones playing it.
