Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Good--I am back from a visit with my mom, who came through her glaucoma surgery like a champ, buoyed, I think, by how well Obama did on SuperTuesday. She got well enough to go out for a ZILLION meals with various relatives while I was there and to see Sweeney Todd, which she loved.

Bad--I got up at 5 am Eastern time to return the rental car and make my first plane, then got stuck in Salt Lake City for 6 hours. It is truly the World's Most Boring Airport. I am tired, sticky and cranky...but home

Did we have red carpet at the same time as the east coast? Our actual awards seem to be a couple hours away, but they're referring to the red carpet on the CBS news.
