Yeah, it's messed up. The March show was supposed to be our...nine?...year anniversary. And instead it's probably canceled. It's a bunch of NIMBY powerhungry freaks who are using any excuse to shut shit down. Of course, the club itself is a bit sketch on some of the particulars, but so are a LOT of places in DC--they're definitely targeting this one. Which sucks ASS. There's been lots of chatter on the listserv, but at this point it's mostly the club and lawyers, and not a lot to be done.
I just read that article, meara. How horrid. You know, since I've started writing down three things I'm thankful for several days a week, I've become much more positive and optimistic, but some times, people just suck.

I have an all-day class today. Happily it is mostly doing stuff that I'm good at (SQL) so it should go fast and be more like solving puzzles than boring work.

One TV show was Best Week Ever where they were making fun of the boobtacular outfit Christina Aguilera wore to vote. But -- Christina Aguilera voted! I love that.
