See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Seems like a totally unremarkable name to me, at least for a Catholic cemetery.

I think 3 of four grandparents of mine are buried in a Resurrection Cemetery

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Did they chew Trident?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And now my boss says, all passive-aggressive-like, "Are we going to get that in an email before the meeting?" Gee, if you checked your email, you would see that you got it an hour ago.

At least she'll be out of town next Monday and Tuesday.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I'm now home. We didn't have a snow day, but we did close early (12:10) because of snow. Which means that I have all the drawbacks of a snow day (rehearsal cancelled, speeches cancelled this afternoon even though my 6th graders brought in all their stuff and some of it was food stuffs) and none of the sleeping in benefits.

Did they chew Trident?

Well Kit (my mother's mother) certainly didn't, she had no real teeth left by the time she died.

And it turns out they are in the Assumption Cemetery.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Seems like a totally unremarkable name to me, at least for a Catholic cemetery.

It seems cross-purposed to me. My cemetery, his resurrection. Or do we get resurrected for the second coming? My knowledge is faulty there.

sarameg- if you're around? I need someone to talk me back from a ledge.

What, are you reading the latest WYPR news?

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

"As you can see from this description, this argument is extraordinarily [tenuous, I guess]."

I know there's a math/comp-sci term, for not being able to gate through to the next state until all the parameters are turned to Yes, but I can't come up with the equivalent in rhetoric that fits into one word.

I might rephrase the sentence to say, "As you can see from this description, the argument's logic relies on many conditions which are yet to be proved."

That's not very stinging, I guess. What I would say in casual speech is: "That's a lot of Ifs for a single Then statement!"
