why are they Jilli shoes? Well the front is adorned with a cluster of mini skulls with one wearing an adorable little top hat! Plus the back has batwing bows. I'm not sure how they would translate in real life but this is what they look like [link]
I sense I'm going to be spending an evening with shoes, little skulls, and epoxy.
Jilli, do you have a cobbler who alters shoes?
I haven't worked up the courage to ask my insane cobbler if he would be able to alter the shoes for me. He does great work (and is the only cobbler I've found who can make pointy-toe Fluevogs like new again), but he frequently lectures me about the condition I will let boot heels get too before I come see him.
A strange metatarsal growth: [link]
ugh, that reminds me. I must get some of my shoes reheeled. sigh. It sucks being lazy, you know? Everything is always sneaking up on me.
I wonder if Pucci (et al) is the actual dividing line between Goth and non-Goth.
Bat shoes! Batty shoes! [link]
If I was able to wear heels, I would seriously consider saving up for them. Pete is horrified by them, but I don't care.
Those bat shoes might be worth buying just to have.
Jilli, the bat shoes are cool! you could totally make a pair.
I need to stay away from Craft Magazine and from Etsy. Yet I can't resist.
Jilli, those shoes are a thing of beauty.

I'm not allowed to buy shoes or boots as unwearable art. That way leads to never having money again.

I know! I just need to find the time. I love the idea of custom-decorated shoes.
