Jayne: What're you gonna tell the others? Mal: About what? Jayne: About why I'm dead. Mal: Hadn't thought about it. Jayne: Make something up. Don't tell 'em what I did.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Huckabee won WV.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I think it is only the Amex Corporate card where you are ultimately responsible for the charges.

This was Diner's Club.

I think this primary is all sown up - the elevator is reporting that Obama has won Indonesia with a solid 75%. And with nearly a hundred ex-pat votes cast. I just don't see how HRC comes back from that.

Our Uni has two kinds- A Corporate American Express which you have to pay (and can use for personal stuff) and a P-Card which is a visa and the company pays directly. But you can't use the P-card for travel, or books, or food, so you have to use the Amex.

we had that too. I had a corporate Amex because I traveled. I paid the bill, they reimbursed me. I wasn't cool enough for a purchase card. Then, Amex decided to stop waiving the fee for unis. The uni wouldn't pay it, so I got rid of the card. I figured that if I was going to pay the fee, it should be on my own damned card. Which is what I do now.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm jealous of Jesse's boots.

I'm kind of jealous of them, and they're all here in my office!

Coworker agrees on Boot 2.

I like boot number one, except I like the heel of boot number two better.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

If you pay late, it goes on your credit. If you don't pay, the collectors come after you.

The company I was talking about didn't do that - the card had your name on it, but the card was in the name of the actual company. It was the employees paying the cards off late that finally got them to speed up their pay cycles on expense reports.

DH's co got stuck with a number of bills when people left.
