I wonder if there's a time shift between broadcast and cable.

There often is. Especially with HD. I've noticed it at my local sports bar.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Whohoo! (sorry pats fans)

Could be satellite, too. There's definitely a delay with sat, what with the teevee coming from space and all.

I only got to see the second half because of moving in a major snowstorm, but apparently I didn't miss much.

I was wondering about all the yelling outside. While I was inside, completely losing my shit over Miss Austen Regrets.

I'm a sap, normally. This was worse than usual. I need to go look at a calendar. I have no idea if it was good or not, I was manipulated well.

Today on Marketplace Money, there was a woman whose parents set up a trust inheritance based on theoretical kids she'd have and all I could think is how fucking pissed off I'd be if my parents did something like that (with them knowing my current stance.) Luckily the woman in question was just freaked, not offended. But it's not the money at all (I could give a shit if they designated it all to their favorite charity) it is the sentiment. And hell, they described much more offensive inheritance qualifiers.

Note to anyone who wants to give me money: prescribe conditions and I'll say fuck you and write it off.

That sucks, libkitty, dang!

I wish the rest of hte game had been nearly as interesting as the last few minutes of that game.

There are a lot of leftover cupcakes. A little bit of guac. I just finished the chex mix. I also have brownies someone brought. And I no longer have a workplace to bring these leftovers to!

I'm with you on the money. I'm currently not talking to my mom over something like this (well, this is part of it anyway, although clearly not an inheritance issue). I will talk to her soon, I'm sure, but I'm still not confident I can keep my cool.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh jeez, they just promo'd a local post-game situation, "after network coverage." What does that mean for House? I need to go to bed!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

House is starting now.

I know, meara. I understand the issues related to meth, but this sure does make it rough for those of us who just want the medicine!

Yeah, here they're doing more post-game. Eh. I will trust the machine.
