Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Turbo Tax is like being paid to take a test. It is one of the highlights of my year.

Yeah, I did the H&RBlock one, but same diff. Especially when you're me and have no assets, no children, one employer, etc. Easy peasy!

Go Pats! I've actually been kind of watching the game.

Not watching the superbowl, but want to know when to turn on the half time show

I don't want to miss the new House after.

Also, if the Giants lose, I need to know how many days I should wait before calling my parents.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Annabel is watching Noggin, since DH and I have no strong feelings about the Pats and the Giants--for us, since I lost my interest in figure skating after the judging system changed and my favorites all retired, the time between BCS championship and pitchers and catchers reporting is a sort of athletic limbo.

Earlier I was watching CSPAN with Annabel beside me. They were showing the Obama rally in LA with Oprah, Michelle Obama, etc. She was commenting on it, and I was trying to explain what it was all about. I said it was time to choose a new president, and that it was very important, and that we were going to the caucus on Saturday before Eli's birthday party to vote. She brightened up and said, "I love to vote! I can bring Clifford, Kitty, and Buffalo!" (her latest favorite stuffed animals) "They're quiet." (That last because she know she's not allowed to bring noisy toys when we go places.)

It was cute as can be, but I'm not sure she really knows what "vote" means. I'm half expecting her to be disappointed on Saturday when our caucus site isn't a boat.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Am I the only one watching the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet instead?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm watching In Therapy on HBO.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

We just finished the Puppy Bowl. And are now watching last week's House in order to be able to watch this week's House.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

We're watching Puppy Bowl. Which is good because Noah always watches dog TV when we go places as he is trapped in his car seat and the dog is in the way back bouncing around.

Noah hasn't had a nap today. We're all a little loopy.

That was totally an unanticipated xpost.

The akita puppy is gorgeous and relatively enormous!
