I'll just jump in my time machine, go back to the twelfth century, and ask the vampires to postpone their ancient prophesy for a few days while you take in dinner and a show.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesse, probably though perhaps not as many as Safeway?

Yeah, I guess we'll see if I end up in line behind a million people buying organic avocados and whole-grain chips!

I'm going to get that cute baby stuff!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Isn't Cooper actually the first son?

Yeah, I meant "third" as in "the one who isn't the other two."

Archie and Olivia still live in New Orleans, I think?

Wikipedia says they moved to Oxford, Mississippi after Katrina, but who knows whether that's current.

Ha! Peyton's the one with the this-one-is-not-like-the-other family name. Eli is Elisha and Cooper is technically Archibald Cooper.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Hey all, how dangerous would meatless pasta in a butter-based sauce that was left out overnight in 60° temperature be? Hil's advice made for very tasty tortelini, but with the balsamic vinegar I can't tell if it's gone bad or not.

I wouldn't worry about it.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I recently found a college friend on Facebook and discovered that he and his wife have four daughters named Hannah, Mikaela, Eowyn, and Elliott. To me, those sounds like kids from four different families. They're expecting a baby boy in a few months, so I wonder what they'll come up with for him...

I've been let down by the red sudafed. I'm still all sneezy, sniffly, stuffy.

Now what?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It just started raining hard enough that I heard it through the closed windows and over my TV.

Raining here today too. Rainy days are good days to be sick.
