Ugh... I'm up and almost finished getting ready for today. Being at the school before 7am is awful! At least this time it is for a good cause (my students going to competition!) My stomach is knotted up, though. I don't think they realize I get nervous, too!
I fear it is going to be a long day, though.
4 hours until we perform...
Good luck to all the kids, GG! Drama Club almost singlehandedly saved my life and sanity in high school, literally.
My high school generally won our state drama competition...although I wasn't involved, except doing coat check and stuff some years. Fun!
But who does that to strangers on a train?
Right, cause everyone knows the only thing you do with strangers on a train is exchange murder scenarios.

Coat check for Matt Damon?
I'm trying to remember if our school even did the speech/drama competitions (they were combined here in IL)--I don't think we did.
Ugh. I'm here at work--one of the few who braved the ten inches of snow to trek in. Actually, this morning's commute wasn't too bad, only 30 minutes to drive the five miles. Last night, when I left here at 5:30, took me 75 minutes. That was one of the worst drives home I've had in the two winters I've lived up here.
I
could
go to work today. It'll be a pain in the ass to trudge through all that snow, but with public transit it's doable.
Oh well - off I go. If you don't hear from me, they'll find my body in the spring....
Dear people in snowy states,
I hate you.
No love,
Globally warmed NY
(Forecast calls for heavy downpours and wind. Joy.)
Upstate NY seems to have sleety ick, but no snow!
I keep saying I'm sick and tired of 37 and rainy, and yet? That's what we have again today! (And I swear, it's always 37.)
Coat check for Matt Damon?
Nah, for the audience.
