Swouncing

I'm so glad I didn't leave the computer until I read Jilli's interview (and, not surprisingly, I'm with everybody here who thinks Jilli is so very cool).

Also, before I leave the computer for the weekend, according to Topic!Cindy "If the Apocalypse Comes, Beep Me" Feb 1, 2006 1:02:15 pm PST I wanna send early wishes to Olivia and her mom (and older brother) for her birthday tomorrow, and wish her a great year.

Have good Fridays and lovely weekends, everybody.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'm feeling like an idiot because my voter registration isn't going to be processed in time to vote on Tuesday. (I was told Feb 1 was the deadline, but it turns out that was just for a move from one county of AR to another.) Theoretically there's a chance that I could still vote by absentee ballot in TN, but that would require the Shelby County Clerk to send me an absentee ballot within 3 business days. Given that it took me a year of trying to get a copy of my car title from these people, I think I'm just going to have to accept having no influence on the Clinton/Obama decision.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

What exactly are those "safety reasons"? My first thought is "penis caught in the control column."

and are they going to scrub the seats after they disembark?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Thank you, Nilly! She's a very big girl now (although still wee) and with a bad haircut courtesy of me.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Guys,

Can you remind me (again) that I can do this therapy thing, and send some general ~ma in my direction?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This is news to me (but I don't hang out on MySpace):

MySpace: No place for Atheists?

Cleveland, OH.— Social networking site, MySpace.com, panders to religious intolerants by deleting atheist users, groups and content.

Early this month, MySpace again deleted the Atheist and Agnostic Group (35,000 members). This deletion, due largely to complaints from people who find atheism offensive, marks the second time MySpace has cancelled the group since November 2007.

..

“MySpace refuses to undelete the group, although it never violated any terms of service,” said Bryan Pesta, Ph.D., the group’s moderator. “When the largest Christian group was hacked, MySpace’s Founder, Tom Anderson, personally restored the group, and promised to protect it from future deletions.”

You can absolutely do this, Tom.
