After last night's MythBusters, where they tested whether or not an airplane on a conveyor belt can take off, (and it did) there are still lots and lots of people who are vehemently arguing the opposite, even after MythBusters showed it happening, and carefully explained why. I'm amazed at the length people can go to deny something they saw with their own eyes.

Vaguely relatedly, I heard a very interesting story on NPR last night. Back in the day, the "loonies" claimed that we could build shields to block out the sun and save us from global warming. Respectable scientist scoffed at this notion, and set out to prove that it couldn't be done. Unfortunately, they couldn't. The discovered that there was some feasibility to the notion, and are now pursuing an avenue of related research.

Secret Muslim, killed Vince Foster, Swiftboat Veterans... they don't need to know anything at all. Facts are stupid things!

Yeah, but it won't surprise anybody about Hillary whereas what Obama has going for him is optimism and change. IMO, it would be easier to tarnish his image.

I haven't decided who I'll vote for yet, these are just my concerns. I'm an independent so I usually don't vote in the primaries. But here I can.

And, honestly, Clinton and Obama have nearly identical policy plans, and neither one has any executive experience. So talking about who would make a better President has to be on the basis of their campaign rhetoric.

This was what I was trying to say, but more eloquently and succinctly.

You mean outside of the clusterfuck surrounding the release of papers between her and her husband? Or you know, the fundraising for the library that neither she nor her husband will discuss? Or, you know, that she's just a front for her husband to take over the country again.

Also, ita, I hope the blood clots resolve. I worry that they will tell you that they don't know what is going on. I seem to be encountering that a lot these days, so I hope you can avoid it.

Also, remember that the Swift boat thing came up very late in the campaign.
