Art Crawl!!!

Man, in order to get my state id updated, I need a valid passport, an original birth certificate AND something with my signature on it. Completely ridiculous.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ugh -- I was just starting to feel like I had a handle on all the deadlines today and tomorrow, when I realized I had forgotten all about one of them! Argh.

If someone finds my brain, could you dust it off and stick it in a coffee pot to soak up some bean juice? Ta ever so.

Art Crawl!!!

BTW, I was born in Connecticut and they only sell you certified copies - never an original.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I know this is not really surprising, but it bothered my snozing this morning - guy on NPR saying that the evangelical religious right really does not have a candidate to get out and vote FOR on the Republican side since Huckabee won't get the nom. So, their numbers for the election might be way down. BUT if Clinton gets the nom, they will be highly motivated to get out and vote AGAINST a candidate.

Yeah, that scares me a lot. Even if she won (which I still think she would) the effect on down-ticket Democrats would be ugly.

Apropos of nothing... one of the new techniques we've been learning in one of my classes is called "Sweep." I keep wanting to yell it, but none of my students knows anything about curling, so they would just look at me funny. Funnier.

Here's a question that might seem stupid - why do the evangelicals dislike Hillary more than any other Democratic candidate?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Kat, I hope you guys were able to sleep with Noah and that he gets better without a trip to the emergency room.

Allyson, when I was doing flowers for weddings, I registered with the state for tax purposes--they wanted to make sure they collected taxes on any business I did and made money for. I just registered under my social security number with a DBA name. The plus side of that is that I could use that certificate to buy wholesale without paying sales tax at wholesale businesses that catered to retailers. Not sure if this is similar to what the city's trying to get you to do or not.

On edit:

Jars, it's because she's a)a strong woman b) married to Bill Clinton --who they consider a brother to Satan and c)a strong woman.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am not sure whether this is true for a lot of people, but people I know personally think that Hillary "can't control/satisfy her man" and therefore how could she run a country.
