He also gets prednisone. and a corticosteroid which he'll get by nebulizer.
I think it's just early bacterial pneumonia.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Hivemind, I just got a final notice from the city of LA because on my 2006 taxes, I paid taxes to the state and feds on a 1099 from my book advance.
The City now says that I am an independent contractor or a small business and I need to pay them money and register with them.
It's not a bill. I'm unsure what the fuck to do, as the language is weirdly complex and I'm not that smart.
Has anyone experienced anything like this?
I work as an independent contractor, and I haven't needed to register with the city. Obviously, things may differ from city to city and state to state. Do they want you to buy a license of some kind?
It appears so. I mean, they want me to apply for a Business Tax Certificate. My "business" brought me about 2k. I wrote off my new laptop as an expense under the appropriate box, paid an assload of taxes to the state and feds, and here we are, a year later, and they're kicking me.
You know, we've got no state income tax here, so maybe that makes a difference.
Business Tax Certificate sounds more like the kind of thing you'd need if you were paying employees, but I don't know.
There's a Creative Artist exemption that I can use, after some digging.
Who knew? Not I. I'm still not sure what to do, and I bet I'll have to sit on hold for hours tomorrow to figure out what they want from me in terms of paperwork.
Kat, I hope the noodle sleeps it right off.
Aurelia, I'll mention it to my GP.
Allyson, you've got an agent, right? You might try asking her if other clients have had to deal with this.
Ugh Allyson, that's annoying. I can't see how 1099 automatically translates to being a business.
Kat! I'm sorry to hear Noah is sick. I hope it clears up soon.
I am so tired I'm kinda useless, but unfortunately I still need to wash dishes and fold laundry. blah.
Oooh, Kat, best of luck to the poor noodle.
