Someone please tell me to stay away from the Salon article comment thread. I read an excellent article about one woman's attempt to clear up her credit card bills (move her to Chicago and reduce the debt a bit, and she could be me), and one of the first commenters flamed her to ashes. "Only $10K? Try 3x that much! This article is useless!" and, OTOH, "Gee, I don't have any debt at all--I'm so much more superior to you!"

Yep. They are on both sides of each block starting by the hotel and going past Brady. Getting home after work should be an exciting challenge. I'm heading south to the 10 in hopes of avoiding it.

Well that's just peachy. I wonder if we'll get out of school early? We did that once last year when the President was coming so that the kids didn't get stranded here until 7. Does anyone know if the road is already closed?
I have to make it up Sunset to get on the 405N. That should be fun. @@
Or you could go to Barrington and south to San Vicente to Wilshire to the 405. The road was not closed 30 minutes ago.
