I always use my favorite characters for fake names in applications instead of Mickey Mouse or whatever. If people aren't fans Laura Roslin and Kara Thrace are just names, if they are fans they get excited.

I found using hockey players /jersey numbers makes a good combination especially if I use harder to spell names and use another guy's number.
Speaking of hockey, Tampa's on Versus tonight, not sure if it's going to be in HD. I'm torn it's always good to see "my boys" in HD, but then again, they'll probably suck so the losing will be that harder to take.

Hee. Some of those hockey names no one would ever guess...or spell correctly! The other thing you can do for passwords is to use the first letters of a phrase that you can easily remember. "Twas brillig and the slithy toves" becomes Tbatst. I tend to do a lot of l33t to add in the numbers, so that could become Tb@t5+.
Our weather...we had snow last night. But yesterday we had torrential rain. It flooded out Apache and evacuated some people. Flooded out (impassible) three out of the four possible routes to our new house. Eep! The builder, who tried number three of those routes, said the water crossing the road was six to eight feet!

This is why you should not camp in washes, peoples! It looks all innocent and like it's a tiny tiny stream, but when the rains come and the snowpack melts, you'd better get out the way. Anyway, today it's a little better.
Ahh, my first hockey game of the season was the Habs vs. Bruins bloodbath the other weekend. Now those are the injury-prone underachievers I recall from my days of pre-strike fandom!
