I have those sorts of rules for the password to the student information system here. I have my password written down under my keyboard, because I hardly ever have to log in. Someone would still need my user name, the user name for my department, and the password for my department, so it is still fairly safe. Also, I can't make changes, only look at info. I've done the polar bear thing before. It was fun, and really exhilarating. Bring a thermos of hot chocolate souped up with whiskey or amaretto or something.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.
A thing I do for the fancy passwords is use a 1 in place of an i in a word. Of course, I also have all of my passwords written down on a Rolodex card.

Hells, yeah. I watched Spaceballs, Cannonball Run, and Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure while making Christmas cookies this year. I'm surprised the cookies didn't turn into dumb-yet-funny pills.
