Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.
I love cooking dinner, except that I don't often enough have time/energy to make myself get off my ass.
Tonight, roasting a chicken. Which is a level of super-easy such that I always think "I should do this at least every week! And have stock for ever and ever!" and then I run out of energy to make myself get off my ass.
Totally all of that. Except then I remember I'm not wild about dark meat, and I'm never satisfied with the stock I make.
