Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

Huh. Very simple, almost obvious idea for water conservation.
Oh! My friend Kelly just got that. She did all these renovations that made the 1/2 bath on the first floor smaller, so it was ideal for space conservation as well. I haven't tried it out yet but it should be hooked up next time I'm there.

Also, I watched 4 hours of Miss America Reality Check and now that the finale is on, I could watch it. But after all of this, "remake the pageant" bullshit, they winner is someone who looks JUST LIKE last year's winner.

I found the most surprising thing about this year's competition to be that Trace Ayala was a judge. What was the criteria for picking judges thiss year?

Actually, that was second most surprising thing. The first was that I freaking watched for the first time since I was 10. Damn you, TLC, and your reality crack!

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Huh. I have no idea who Trace Ayala and google didn't even help me clarify. I'm still mad that one of the people who was spotlit on Reality Check didn't even come close to winning. IRKS ME.

I think someone could make a fortune with a breakfast delivery company. Espacially on weekend. Because I would pay big bucks for someone to bring me bacon and eggs right now. It's -16 C, and I really don't want to go outside.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It's snowing pretty snow outside, yet still I don't want to go out. And that there were more attractive breakfast places than Dunkin Donuts to walk to, if I did.

OTOH, I had two leftover cupcakes (small) for breakfast. Probably need to eat something more substantial than that, but for now, 'tis good.

Now tagless for your comfort.

We have bacon and eggs. I should make them. It's 16 degrees out but that's supposed to get better.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm still mad that one of the people who was spotlit on Reality Check didn't even come close to winning. IRKS ME.

Me too. I was like, "What? We don't even know her!" And I'm surprised they had two blondes in a row. Also I was disappointed at how much makeup and hairspray the girls had on! I guess the reality show was just a whole separate thing.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Need to run some errands today, but otherwise quiet. Which is good, since the next few weekends are packed.

I made some bacon and even found a bag of Southwest style hash browns. So I had those with eggs over easy and toast. It was TEH YUM!

The kids had scrambled eggs with toast. They're not into bacon quite yet.

Okay, leftover Thai food is an acceptable substitute for bacon and eggs.
