I just think you're freakin' out 'cause you have to fight someone prettier than you.

The best part is, even if someone turned it in right away, and I can tell them exactly when and where I dropped it, they won't give it back to me. 'Cause then everyone would do that.

ETA: Now trying to calm down by looking at all the cuteness--more babies stat!

Oh, sucker that I am, I'd take Noah even without the massage chairs. Cause he's a dream. And I AM A SUCKER. If my suckerifficness bore fruit, I'd be deluged with nephews and Noah and Grace and Allyson's niecphewlets and Cash's kids and and ..I'd be insane. And buried in children. Happily. Damned economy and capitalism and all that shit that make me fond of my ridic salary.

megan, did you see tommyrot's edit that the New Jersey thing was from 1970? Which doesn't take away the suckiness of losing your MUNI pass, but it's something.

More babies: the sleeping mouthbreather, puppydog head tilt.

That's what I get for skipping ahead in my rage.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, the cuteness of that smile.

Liese, are you being literally gaslighted?

Hah! I think this is possible. However since the result is that my heat is working, I will not question it. If people wish to drive me crazy by sneaking around and fixing things that are wrong with my house for, like, always, I will put up with it.

The house, she is coming along.

The cuteness is helping enormously, although I'm still doing that pathetic thing where you go through everything again, even though you've been through it a few times already and you know in your heart of hearts that what you're looking for is not there.

Wow, the house looks really great. You guys are building a whole house! It's crazy!

You know, when I'm feeling stupid, it's nice to know that other buffistas are out there building houses and kids and important stuff like that.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hee! Thanks!

It's funny at this point with the rooms! Lighting fixtures! Cabinetry! mode we're in. It'll happen again once the power actually goes in and we can turn stuff on. And then with the flooring. And then with the finish plumbing. And then with the woodstove.

And then hopefully we'll be done and we can move in! The builder is saying the end of next week, but I have my doubts. If so, I'm in real trouble with trying to get packed.

You know when I'm tired of Matilda slapping my face in the middle of the night, it's nice to know you'll let her yank on your hair and flirt with her madly.
