Zoe: Next time we smuggle stock, let's make it something smaller. Wash: Yeah, we should start dealing in those black-market beagles.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Are you locked in to the i-Something naming convention?

iWeave
iSay
iTchy

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Totally, Jesse! It was kind of an adventure and a bunch of us bonded a little, what with being trapped together, but the whole needing to pee thing was what made it truly miserable.

Holding L's T today, he curled into a ball in my arms. Knees up to his chin, head down...he was the size of a volleyball. A warm, grunting, farting volleyball. God, I love'em.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

iWeevel

you aren't lame, you're just set in your ways and NYC is big and scary and trips require boarding MR.K and all.

ION, scrabulous people. isn't that what Fri night is for?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It was kind of an adventure and a bunch of us bonded a little, what with being trapped together

I...think I would kill someone.

But I wish I were better at it, because I'm depriving me of so much. I need to get better at weekend trips.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I am home tonight watching, among other things, the Hard & Phirm comedy special on Comedy Central. It occurred to me that they might be something that most people here would like-- they do comedy songs (I don't know what to call that genre, but you know, like FotC) and I think they're really smart & funny. And not in a hipster way. Recommended!

Now tagless for your comfort.

lori, thanks for the link! I just got a simple origami kit to do with the kids and it is much harder than it looks. And it looks fucking hard!

sara, I'm so thrilled with the stories of your birth-attending. Birth photos are tricky things--you're inevitably going to capture "too much" but you can always crop that stuff out. One of my favorite photos came from my cousin holding his son right after he was born. The nurse took the photo and the foreground is my cousin beaming at his newborn while right over his shoulder, the mother was being stitched up, grimacing and clutching the sides of her bed.

Having to pee when you're cold just doubles up the suck.

I broke down, took a bath and ran out for McDonalds for dinner. DH took the kids grocery shopping and came back loaded for bear.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Fight Science on National Geographic this weekend is going to feature some of our local krav instructors. Amir Perets (formal IDF Special Forces) will be being attacked by Jonathan Dugas (just finished cop training, but he's been training cops for yonks) and Brent Wilkening (computer nerd). And there's an ad for our centre going to air too. It's all cute and stuff with one of the smaller chicks beating the crap out of a guy that grabs her in the parking lot.
