Can't drink, smoke, diddle my willy. Doesn't leave much to do other than watch you blokes stumble around playing Agatha Christie.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Crap. I got people upset and angry for no reason. Sorry.

In my defense, I got the link from PZ Meyer's blog, so it was his mistake or maybe someone fooled him by sending him the link....

Sad that it didn't even occur (I am never, ever going to learn how to spell that word) to me that the article was possibly not of this century.

Just yesterday I read that the percentage of Americans who said they'd never vote for an atheist for President is much higher now than it was a few decades ago....

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I know, right? I was watching an old movie the other day and thinking that. It was all so pretty and glossy and glamorous and fun, and also totally racist and sexist and classist, and I don't miss it.

Anyway, for those following along, I went back out to the house tonight and the furnace was mysteriously working again. It was the same thermostat, so probably the furnace guy didn't come out. I dunno. Maybe it just took a while to bleed air from the lines or something if I actually did run out.

So I also took some pictures, which I'll have up for you guys later on.
