mac is being a pill. refusing to eat what I made for dinner and refusing choice two. screaming mad at me because I called him picky and made fun of him. he wouldn't eat a bite of food with a fork that had been in other food. SERIOUSLY!?! his reaction is so out of proportion to the situation, I think he must be tired, but he is in his room on isolation until he can say he is sorry. I may not get the apology tonight.

one of mac's standard response to getting in trouble is hitting himself (ridiculously common for the kids from ETH) - he started in on that I gave one warning that if it did not stop, he would lose a visit with uncle, tv for a week and maybe swimming. I am upping punishment for that particularly because it is so awful.
