I happen to be very biteable, pal. I'm moist and delicious.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, probably is. There's even supposedly a reset button on the (wrong) thermostat thingy, but I couldn't get the lid off to check, and I didn't want to bust it seeing as it's the wrong thermostat and I want them to take it back and replace it with the right (7 day programmable) one and not charge me.

Still.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I keep slathering my hands in lotion, but then washing them, so then re-slathering. My grandmother gave me some really nice lotion for Christmas, but I think it's too greasy for my hands. t /random

I just called the bookstore and, yay!, I don't have to work tonight. I figured I wouldn't (I was on call, and they've been cutting hours right and left to make up for using too many during the Xmas rush), so I can head on over to the pet supply store and the grocery store to fill up the pantry for both of us.

I do have to work the store tomorrow night, but that's okay. That extra $75 a week is very nice to have in the account.

My mother-in-law gave me lotion for Christmas, too. It's weird, it has silicone in it. But it feels really nice and smooth and seems to last longer. It doesn't seem like it can be a good idea, but I like it.

Cereal: I always like the Camille Beckman "glycerine hand therapy" lotion my sister gave me some time back. I only use it in the wintertime, so the 4 oz. tub has lasted me a few years. It's almost all gone now, just in time for me to try out the hand therapy set that ChiKat gave me from Mary Kay.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Even with insulation, heating with propane and heating by burning dollar bills works out about the same.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Fragrance-Free Hand Lotion for the win. I have tubes of it scattered through my apartment--kitchen, two in the bedroom, two in the living room, one in the car, one in my purse, one in my krav bag, one in my gym bag, one at work. Every handwashing is followed by moisturising with.

I owe the library $8 in fines which means I can't put holds on via the web. ::sulk::

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

This stuff from my grandmother is Crabtree and Evelyn, and seems too nice to use on my legs, but I think I have to. Unless there's a good way to put it on the backs of my hands and not the fronts....

Hah. I have the non-fragrance free version of that (the neutrogena) here on my desk, and the ff one at home. I just can't slather it politely where I need it in the office. (back, legs, shoulders EVERYWHERE AHRG.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

My butt is dry. I'll have to pick up some moisturizer on the way home.
