There's something about a food that moves all by itself that gives me the heebie-jeebies.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Totally a way to get around a no-jeans policy.

hip deep in pie

People joke at my new office that we have no casual day because every day is casual day.

Signed, wearing cords and sweater

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

This is my third day with no cell phone. It's a PITA. I hope it comes in the mail by tomorrow.

I was going to call the cable company yesterday to get rid of a couple of channels and get my DVR service going, and realized I had real way of doing that from home (no land line).

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I'm trying to upgrade my wardrobe so that I only wear jeans to work on Friday - but yet - what am I wearing today? I need new clothes. Shopping this weekend only garnered me two new shirts and a pair of shoes.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Man, I miss having jeans Fridays. For people like me for whom every morning is a struggle to find something that fits/doesn't look like ass/isn't too dog haired or wrinkly, it made the whole week seem shorter and less stressful.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Why was I dumb enough to get out of bed this morning?

sarameg - Jan 15, 2008 8:13:50 am PST #3287 of 10001

I rarely wear jeans to work. Pretty much only when the weather sucks really bad or I'm going to be crawling around on the (feelthy) floor dealing with cables. That adds up to maybe 4 times a year. I'll probably wear some tomorrow, since I'll again be walking from the mechanic's to work, and damned, that was cold in dress slacks.

There is effectively no dress code here.

Punishingly Intricate

It's snowing at lisah's house. Or it was until 30 seconds ago.

Not snowing in Fells Point.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Meh. My sinuses suddenly decided to attack the inside of my face.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

There is effectively no dress code here.

Here neither, although I haven't tried pushing it as far as "naked."
