Someone grabbed me and pointed me to a fridge full of soda. Then I got yelled at by the admin for taking the soda designated for a specific purpose, and the guy who'd pointed me at the fridge was of course long gone.
I hate that shit.
I think maybe I need to go back home and go back to bed.

Thanks everyone. I slept almost none last night due to coughing craziness and then a very upset mac had an accident at 3am.
This morning though, there was in fact, a Transformer gift bag and a SUPERMOM card. Gifts also, but he was mostly proud of the card and bag. he "chose them himself".
So I have a question.
As of January 1, 2006, the Commission on Teacher on Credentialing is no longer printing or mailing Certificates of Clearance. Applications submitted through a recommending agency via the online process are mailed to the applicant. Paper applications submitted through a college or university are mailed to the recommending college or university.
...what?
I think that means, we don't mail certificates to people, just to organizations, but it's a) unclear and b) contradictory.
Oh, and apparently I finally got my CLAD credential. It does me no good in rural Virginia, of course, but I'll be damned if I was going to have paid 300 fucking dollars for the tests and NOT get my credential.
Because there's no way to explain without sounding kind of weird and third-gradey -- "But he told me to!" -- but it's totally not your fault!
Yep! I tried it anyway, because I couldn't really say anything else while standing there with a Coke Zero in my hand, but she kept saying "It's okay," and I would apologize, and she would say, "We just keep this fridge for XXX", and I would apologize, and she would say, "It's fine. But we keep those sodas..."
The entire transaction took way too long. I'd almost rather she had just told me to put it back. But I'm not sorry enough to give up my Coke Zero.
