You know, I've saved lives. Dozens. Maybe hundreds. I reattached a girl's leg. Her whole leg. She named her hamster after me. I got a hamster. He drops a box of money, he gets a town.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yay!

Punishingly Intricate

I swear I saw a poster in a bus stop that referred to the teacher's pay idiocy.

There was a story on NPR about it a couple of months ago so it has been in the national news. Not that that seems to have made a difference.

I am off today but have a cold! I couldn't even nap properly. Now I'm going to make some plague cookies to take to a party tonight. Because god forbid I let a freaking virus change my plans.

Our wings are not tired.

So, what are people doing tonight?

We live about 1-1/2 miles from our downtown where they have lots of outdoor bands and activities. They drop a ball and have fireworks and such at the tennis center. We were talking about dropping a vehicle this afternoon then walking down tonight and having the truck available to drive home. It's supposed to be about 70 so I'm thinking walking both ways might be a good plan. Or riding bikes.

Staying on the couch and watching tv has a certain appeal too.
