Well, then, this is a day I'll feel good to be me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That article makes me feel kind of sick.

As it should. Maybe you should try a more posh accent next time?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

No wifi as far as I've been able to wander, tiggy.

Seriously, I'm just...why???? I'm so miserable. I can't use up two weeks vacation time being miserable. I'll explode. This was dumb. Maybe I can go home on Sunday and then I'll have some quiet time to write and chill out.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

differences in prescribing by race in both urban and rural hospitals

I heard a blurb about this on the news radio this evening (not NPR), and the summary included a couple of speculations as to why. Blah blah unconscious (or conscious) racism, blah blah lack of empathy, and then:

"Or it might be that white people just whine more when they're in pain."

I think it was meant sardonically, but really, I couldn't say.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

That article makes me feel kind of sick.

What really surprises me is why wasn't this found out earlier? Couldn't a simple statistical analysis of ER treatments have revealed this years ago?

Our wings are not tired.

Allyson, I think you need to go to the library tomorrow to do research.

This is the town that closed down the library, Laura.

Eeeep! It was a good plan in theory. My family is used to me working on my computer all the time when I visit so they don't think anything of it. I'm sorry it's such a difficult visit.

Next town over! There's got to be somewhere.

Speaking of MA towns, apparently they are filming DennisLehane's Shutter Island in Medfield State Hospital, where I'm pretty sure two of my grandparents worked!
