You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

I was #1 in the 70s, #2 in the 80s, and then dropped off to #16, and #32. Whatever I did, I'm sorry. Hey, maybe my name will sound old fashioned one day. That'd be cool. Assuming I'm still around to reap the glory.

I love that database.

Totally gray, misty, rainy day out there today. So glad it's not snow.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Random question: "A historic..." or "An historic..."?

I'd go with "A historic..."

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

If you're American, it's "a historic". If you're British, it's "an".

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I don't think I can deal with the unbearable stupidity of people today.

information libertarian

I must be British. This explains so much.

Art Crawl!!!

Apparently, it's started to snow here.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

My husband, by virtue of hitting his snooze alarm FOUR TIMES, managed to have me completely awake 45 minutes or so earlier than I usually get up. So I got up and went to work early.

It was still dark. I don't think I should have to do anything while it's dark outside.

Another random question: Anyone heard the word "stack" used as a slang term for "penis"?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

You don't get up this early for work?!?

Yep. If I want to spend any time with my kids, it's before sunrise or after sunset. I wonder if my children will think I am a vampire?

I'd go with "an historic" yet I'd say "a history book."

How much do I love this sign, particularly the sermon. So good.

Heh. That almost sounds like an intentional joke....
