Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

THAT is the Wonder Woman costume I could actually wear! Too bad most people would be like, huh?

I am so behind on the news. I had no idea about this:

I walked into my boss's office this morning to discuss, you know, work, and she opened with, "I cannot avoid Britney Spears!!" Um, OK.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Gronk.

I hate it when I (a) work during the week at the bookstore, because we never seem to get out of there before 11:00 pm, (b) stay up late to watch the TV I missed while at said bookstore, and (c) go to bed after 1:00 am, only to be kept awake by a needy cat who desperately craves constant petting when I'm in bed. Then, after I managed to fall asleep an hour later, the cat woke me up an hour after that to meow and demand more petting, which I refused to give her. She then tried knocking things off the bedside table, so I kicked her out of the bedroom and closed the door behind her.

After all that, my foot started spasming along the outside edge (which it tends to do immediately after I get home from a long shift at the store, not four hours later) and wouldn't stop for at least 30 minutes, until I finally got up and squeezed the muscle for some time until it stopped. Only then could I fall back asleep.

Like I said, gronk.

Only good thing is that I'm leaving at 1:30 to await delivery of my new TV!

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

At least Britney Spears is not making the national 6:30 news -- unlike Lindsey Lohan last summer. (It was more of a general piece, about young famous people losing their shit, but LL getting arrested was the spark, I'm sure.)

Obama is still as adorable as a baby koala

He's picked up an endorsement from John Kerry. Not sure if that is a good thing for him or not.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

There's a bar in Madison where you can get a beer in a boot. A nice glass boot.

Here in Texas, you can hardly find a bar without glass boot mugs.

Ah. Here they are [link]

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, here's an odd body mod. Totally safe for work, just weird (and ouchy) as shit.
