I battle evil. But I don't really win. The bad keeps coming back and getting stronger. Like that kid in the story, the boy that stuck his finger in the duck.

I say we push it through as an emergency measure and agree to enact it based on a single up/down vote.

Now hang on. I think there needs to be a chance to add some amendments. For instance, I have this amendment to have all new thread titles point out just how awesome Starbucks(tm) is.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Yes, but then again I don't equate "athlete" and "sport". Despite any official definition, I generally reserve the term sport for something that involves a certain degree of athleticism, competition, and objective scoring. For example, yoga may be athletic, but I wouldn't call it a sport.

I have a friend who's a professional tennis coach. He works out as hard as his players (boy-howdy) and he makes a living at it. I'm always on the fence about referring to him as a professional athlete.

Well, he's certainly athletic, but, to me, a professional athlete is someone who earns his/her living from actually competing.

Yeah. That's the side of the fence I usually fall on.

Though he does make his living being an athlete...

It's ok, I like fences.

At this point, the only amendment I will contemplate adding to BHR 101 is that Gudanov be singled out for enforcement of the Shut Up Already Act.

Starbucks indeed...

Uh. I also have this amendment that all Buffistas owned property be opened for oil drilling. I'm sort of thinking that one should be put in at the end of the bill's text. In 4 point text. Colored yellow. Pale yellow.

Okay, now we definitely need to draft a bill calling for the creation and funding of a Department of Homeland Silence.

Use a light blue. It won't photocopy that way. Ah, non-repro blue...
