I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Jesus. I just got an e-mail that one of the people who sings in my chorus was killed yesterday in an auto accident. I wasn't particularly close to her, but this is just horrible. She was funny and bright -- not just smart, but almost literally bright, with her blond hair and big smile and brightly colored clothes.

Our first rehearsal is tonight. God.

When I made this appt six months ago for 3 pm (which, er, I didn't verify until yesterday,) I did not have 2 pm meetings. Ahrg. Oh well, I hope everyone talks fast.
