Oh, definitely. He found it on the internet somewhere. It involved chopping up the potatoes, mixing an egg and flour to bind the taters together, and then cooking the tots in oil.
Oh, that sounds easy enough. YAY!
Go big girl Emeline!
Anya ,'Potential'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Jeezus people! So, I'm having our (9th) annual St. Pat's party tomorrow, and a friend just messaged to tell me she can't come because our other friend is mad at her and she doesn't want to ruin the party so *sigh* she's so sorry she can't make it.
And you know, I get that being around people you aren't getting along with at the time is uncomfortable and awkward and generally something to be avoided, but a simple-sorry can't make it is fine. There are near 60 people decending on our house tomorrow; it's not like she'd be ruining a dinner party.
Don't want drama? Don't bother me with it, then.
And now I feel bad, because she really is a sweet person.
Don't feel bad. People need to be grownups.
Part of being a grown up is knowing when to politely ignore someone and when to rudely snub someone. At your party, DJ, she should know how to politely ignore, not passive-aggressively try to get you to beg her to attend and assure her that she won't ruin it because, obviously, she could.
I does feel a little high school. If I know someone who stresses me out is going to be somewhere I'm going, I just...don't go. Or, if it's irritation, go and avoid.
Ah, I know why it bothers me! It feels like a passive agressive ultimatum. "If she goes, I won't go. Choose."
Bah. Anyway, slow day at work. Which is good because my brain isn't all here.
I was catching up on my reading of eWeek, and lo and behold who should show up but our own Jilli.
zooms to the office copy of eWeek.
Awesome!
I so need another job, I don't even know how to tell you all. My boss needs someone to ride herd on her, and I am so not the person to do it.
That's great, Emily!
Daisy! Thank you for linking to GoJane way back when. I bought a bunch of bright-colored flats from them for spring and they are making me very happy. Sorry there is Drama.
Eh. It's already forgotten, for there is a sweet doggie here today who keeps coming over to say hi. And party tomorrow! Yay!
ETA: Yay new shoes! I will say, don't order sweaters from there. I have a grey one that almost immediately pilled. OTOH, I got a pair of stretch cropped jeans that have been awesome and a purple cropped sweater (so cute over another shirt) that is awesome.
Sweaters may pill, check. It's so nice to have such an affordable option for things that are really cute but I in no way need.
