My Pi Day Pie: [link]
BEHOLD my geekery!!!!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Mmmm. Pi.
Delicious, delicious geekery.
Homemade tater tots are love.
I had no idea that it was possible to make tater tots from scratch.
They are much better when made from potatoes.
A bunch of us are bringing pies into the office tomorrow.
I have tomorrow off. I have a pie crust. But I don't think I have enough money to buy ingredients. Maybe I can wheedle some ingredients out of my roommates.
Because our house is odd - bedtime songs this evening:
Twinkle
There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly
Theme from "Superman: The Animated Series"
Mommy's Hair song
A Whole New World
and for Aunt Jilli, the theme from The Addams Family
Anyone here worked as an independent contractor? I know nothing of the requirements for accounting and tax deductions and the like--got a suggestion of a place to start?
yes. You should get an accountant. You might also want to check to see if you need a business license, some states require that of independent contractors.
I haven't worked as one, but I managed one's accounts for 7 years, meara. You need a good accountant who will set you up with quarterly taxes and such, as Vortex said. So yay new job?
ND, I'm online if you're around.
