Hey Aimee, I have just started trying to catch up with things, but how did things with your half-sister go?
Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I haven't sent the letter. School started and work got crazy and my sister sister most likely has thyroid cancer, so I'm holding off for a bit.
GC, couldn't be happier for you and GF!
Argh. Just got a letter from the unemployment office that I failed to turn up for a...something. On some day last week. They don't say when.
I would've GONE to whatever, last week, but never GOT a notice saying to show up anywhere! Grrr.
I feel I deserve the cupcakes I am now making. Harumph.
pokes head in..
Hi, everyone! So, this whole b.org blocked at work thing really blows. By the time I get home, I don't really want to get on the 'puter. But, I miss you all and think of you often and occassionally read 'n lurk.
sloppy kisses all around!
A friend, a college professor is moving to Japan for nine months as part of an exchange program. I already got him the lonely planet travel guide to Japan. Any suggestions as to one additional gift? Something useful in Japan. Maybe I should post a query in tech to find a list of cool tech he can pick up there cheaper than here, or can't get here at all.
Does he have a Flickr account or something like that? That would encourage documenting the trip. DH lived there for 3 years so I'll ask him if he has any thoughts.
March strikes again. Notice in the mailbox says that the IRS has sent ND a certified letter. I have to go get it tomorrow. I have a bad feeling about this.
ETA: Oh wait, it gets better. ND either has to go get it himself or sign the slip saying I can go get it for him. I have a feeling that this is not something that should wait for several weeks, and it should definitely not get returned to sender.

Okay, I realise that this is UNSPEAKABLY PATHETIC, but I have to come and squee in a really teenage fashion.
See the cute boy I mentioned the other day? With the flirtage? Well, he just phoned me to ask whether he could use our school for a rehearsal. People quite often do, and presumably they arrange this via the office, as I've never had anything to do with arranging it - so I'm all craply blushy and squeeish and stuff about the fact that he went and tracked down my phone number to call me about it, rather than calling the office.
I know. I know. It's really sad to read anything into this. But, you know - unexpected flirty phone conversation! Yay! And now I have his number! I can totally engage in random textual intercourse!
