back from beyond ... friday was the philly flower show. flowers, piped in scents, flourescent lighting, flash bulbs, red wine and chocolate. Um. hello, migraine triggers? At least I made my mom happy. And I had one of those wakeups where you can look at things and they kind of glow.

really, it sucked. DH was quite the hero.

I hope Byron is okay, Kristin. I had a dog who had several cancerous tumors removed and lived for years afterwards.

In other news, cancer sucks. The younger brothers of my two closest friends from college both have advanced cancer. One just told me that her brother's cancer had metastasized to the bone, and the other's brother is largely paralyzed from surgery for a tumor that spread to his brain. They both have children under 18.

Thanks, Nicole. I just got home from Mom's. She's back home now and I made sure that she had jello and plenty of liquids, since my stepfather couldn't seem to manage it. I think it's just time to crash now, but I'll call you tomorrow at work, when I am crazily packing. I hate the idea of going away with Mom sick.

Well, toss me out in the needing a spare bit of no cancer~ma as well - I'm waiting for my sister to call me back and tell me the results of her test.

WTF, world! Much comfort to Ginger's friends and their family, let it be easily treatable Byron issues, continued health and eating to Jojo (josie?), no migraines for Sox, health-ma for sj's mom, and a little quick bone healing for my own mom who broke a metatarsal bone. Oh, and anti-insomnia fairy ma for Susan.

But yay for kitties who are as sweet as Taz.
