Apropos of cats and health, our new cat Amon has finally realized that shoulders are good places. I would pick up him and he would put his front paws on my shoulder, I would pet him, but he would suddenly decide that This Was Not What Cats Should Do and bolt. Yesterday he hesitated, then slowly relaxed and let his head drop while I petted him.
I hadn't realized just how much I'd missed a cat's weight on my shoulder. I may have hugged him a little tight, because I got a squeak and a glare. If he decides to start curling up by my head to sleep, I may be embarassingly soppy eyed for days.

Er... anyone know why my back is achey right between my shoulder blades, and getting more so? This is kind of annoying. Also, my ears are stopped up. Very annoying.

I just realized - the DST fairies stole all of our energy, so they could use it to run around auto-changing all the clocks on cell phones and cable boxes and such. Fuckers.

I also have "Teenagers" by MCR stuck in my head since I went on line last night trying to figure out what the band sounds like. I assumed they were one of those groups that I know their songs I just don't
know
that I know them but Teenagers was the only song I was even slightly familiar with and I think it's because my neice had it on her ipod when I gave her a ride home from Thanksgiving last year. Anyway it's a funny song to have stuck in your head when you work with teenagers.
So much gronk. I'm about to present a workshop to teachers and administrators I've never met before and am crazy nervous. Doing this on nothing but a cup of coffee was probably not my best idea ever. Smooth presentation ma requested.
