Lorne: Back in Pylea they used to call me "sweet potato." Connor: Really. Lorne: Yeah, well, the exact translation was "fragrant tuber" but…

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

And apropos of nothing, catching up on The Sarah Connor Chronicles while in the middle of rereading Neuromancer is a REALLY fantastic way to make yourself pointlessly nervous about going online to mention it.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

meara, it is so wrong that a night out at a sex club should be boring. Bleurgh on the old dom. Bleurgh.

connie, I'm glad everything came out ok. Why, yes, I did have to make that joke.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

I think you should wear The Red Dress.
Of course, I think you should wear it all the time.

But that's just me. Me and the sixty or so other people at that F2F

Even though it's too late, I had to chime in and agree with Trudy. Although I'm sure the black pants were awesome.

...whilst I'm all 'Yay, Go Meara!' wrt the whole fabulousness of your life, it occurs to me that I'm fairly sure I would be supremely embarassed in a sex club. I'm a touch embarassed by this realisation, but I feel certain that it's the truth. I can pretty much SEE it in my head, and it plays out like a scene from Ugly Betty in terms of excruciating yet comedic fish-out-of-water-ness.

Oh, the Great Dane went Group 3 at Crufts - I cheer for your breed Aimee!

Note the cute, houndy ears look on the uncropped Dane.

(My breed went Group 3 in the Gundog Group.)

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Crufts

Ooh, the Bouvier's lovely, too!

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Josie is home again (we brought her back last night) and she is actually eating! That was the thing that wasn't happening at the vet. Tuna did the trick nicely. So happy to look over and see my little kitty here. She is going to be showered in love (and tuna) for the rest of her kitty days!
